Rob and his team helped us make custom cuts of our ceremony music at no additional cost. We also booked our uplights through their team, and they were beautiful. Not only could you select the color, but the lights could also be programmed to cycle through colors for more of a party vibe. I could not recommend DJ Jeff Collins more highly. He was professional and on time, and most importantly, had incredible energy. He hit all of our requests for the evening, both for the dinner portion of the night and the dance party afterwards. He worked seamlessly with our planner and made all of the right announcements at the right time, and a large part of the evening's success was due to his energy and enthusiasm. There are a few photos I wish had been full body rather than cut off at the ankles, oh well. At the end of the night when our coverage had ended before the wedding did, they waited till the end of a song before saying goodbye instead of interrupting, which we greatly appreciated.”

He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. Overall I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Summit Events Co!”

Thanks to their Venue Match service, we found our dream spot—the Prospect Park Boathouse. It was exactly what we envisioned: beautiful, intimate, and full of charm. Mostest made the process so easy by narrowing down options based on our style and budget, which saved us hours of research and back-and-forth on quotes. My favorite part of the service was contract review, where they breakdown each line of the contract so nothing surprised us. We also used their Day-of Coordination, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when they recommended a Junior Coordinator too. We had him play acoustically for before our ceremony, during our ceremony, and at the cocktail hour. He even learned a song especially for the wedding party processional that we requested. He is so talented! He also wrote an original song for us to dance to at the wedding. Definitely a must! My fiancé hadn't heard it before the wedding so it made for a very special moment. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”
